| We had another
enjoyable day in London on June 30th, 2001, celebrating gay pride at Mardi
Gras. We also attended in 2000, so if you haven't seen those photos,
what are you waiting for? There is some debate
as to whether or not the event has become just another summer music festival or
corporate sponsorship event, and many people chose to stay away this year in
protest. This may or may not be true, but we enjoyed ourselves and the
opportunity to be together out in the open, exercising our right to be a couple
