Every day seems to be filled with wonderful things if you look at it the right way. This page features an assortment of photos taken during springtime, 2011. For Spring 2010 photos, click HERE. |
Lured by the video images captured above, we attended Declan Donnelan's production of Shakespeare's The Tempest, performed in Russian by the Cheek by Jowl theatre company. It was all rather shouty and hard to follow, as the supertitles were on either side of the stage and away from the action, but still very good for something within walking distance of our house. |
The appeal, here, was Kneehigh theatre company's new production, The Umbrellas of Cherbourg. Kind of a disappointment, but a fun evocation of French New Wave on stage. Much better were the two premieres at the Royal Opera house. I got the autograph of composer Stuart Copeland (drummer from The Police). |
Food Festival at Milford on Sea. We bought morels, cheese, and a lovely blue serving platter (pictured above). |
