This year's "Pink Parade" was notable for its visible inclusion of 80 gay and lesbian police officers, about half of whom were wearing their uniforms. They received well deserved cheers from the crowd, that numbered in the thousands. The march ended up in Hyde Park this year, which was great, and we enjoyed the festivities as much as usual.
